a rebozo can be used in an infinite number of ways to help make you more comfortable. In the last few months of pregnancy when everything gets sore and tried, you can use a rebozo to take the pressure off your joints. In my third pregnancy I used to walk around with my rebozo tied around my hips, relieving the uncomfortable ‘my bones are drifting apart’ feeling. You can also use the rebozo to slightly lift your belly, supporting the baby and removing the weight off your pelvis, hips, and lower back. You can use a rebozo to apply counter-pressure or even help to massage your back. You can use a rebozo to gently help turn a baby that is not optimally positioned for labour.
Rebozos are a little bit magic. Ask your doula to teach you about them, you won’t regret it.
